Rio de Janeiro, 1993: my father introduces me to surf, and it’s been one of my greatest passions since then.

In 2005, I finished my degree in Product Design and I decided to start making my own surfboards. I knew what I needed, so why not give it a try?

10 years of hand shaping later, I've decided to take on a new challenge in Portugal, where I have been working with big brands, developing boards for high performance and competition at an international level.

BS Surfboards brand comes as a natural progression of my work as a shaper.

Over the years, I have seen surf evolve and had the chance to work closely with different kinds of surfers with unique needs. I believe that each person can better express their potential if they have the right board.
